Our Design-Build team works with homeowners, organizations, and communities to construct ecologically rich and engaging landscapes. Our Mobile Nursery and our nonprofit Living Labs teams focus on accessibility, bringing native plant and ecological knowledge to neighborhood events and educational venues. Across Miridae as a whole, we love collaborating among ourselves and with others on forward-thinking initiatives that advocate for native flora and fauna, whether it’s a design-build project for your home, a public art collaboration, or comprehensive plans for an urban streetscape.

2022 National ASLA HONOR AWARD
Miridae received a National American Society of Landscape Architects Honor Award for Miridae Mobile Nursery in the Communications category. A project that launched at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mobile Nursery continues to broaden its reach and bring communities together while spreading the word about native plants. Thank you to everyone who has helped bring this project to life, especially all of our Mobile Nursery hosts!
2020 NATIONAL ASLA AWARD of excellence
We received a National American Society of Landscape Architects Award of Excellence for our project, The Seed Bank: A New Approach to the Living Wall in the Communications category. With a collaborative team of artists and fabricators, we challenged preconceptions about the traditional “green” living wall and instead proposed a living wall of dormant plant seeds. This concept arms our client, DPR Construction, with a new mission to support native habitat!
2020 ASLA Sierra chapter Merit Award WINNER
We received a 2020 Merit Award from the Sierra Chapter of the ASLA for our project “A Residential Reconciliation” in the Single Family Residential category.
